Welcome to our new website!  

Our goal is to help our area residents to remain informed and prepared as we continue through the 2007 hurricane season.

The TLCD Board of Commissioners holds meetings on the 1st and 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the District Office in Houma. These days are subject to change due to holidays or other scheduling conflicts.
Due to Mardi Gras holiday, committee meetings will be held on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 6:00 P.M.
The mission of the Terrebonne Levee and Conservation District is to protect lives and property during times of emergency by using the available manpower and equipment in a safe and timely sequence, while maintaining the integrity of the levee systems and flood control structures.  Terrebonne Levee and Conservation District shall engage in flood control works as it relates to hurricane protection, tidal or riverine flooding, saltwater intrusion and conservation.
